Coral Reef Diver

Is the diver request made for lunch or dinner or both? Thanks.
its for either..it really depends on when the diving class is going on in the big tank...people pay to learn how to dive and its done in the big tankso it revolves around those class times. let them know when youd like to be there and they will work w/you. good luck :thumbsup2

Do you think it is weird if I do this for myself? We are going to Disney next September for my bday. My husband doesn't know anything about the Dis or much about Disney. (I'm the planner when it comes to our trips, he just goes along with it). Has anyone else planned it for themselves? I don't want to miss out on something so cool. Any input?

Suzy

I just did this for our upcoming February trip. No one said anything to me about the menu. Is this something I should call back and request or is it too much of an imposition?

I'm not sure if I was originally told about the menu or not but my DH received one with his name on it and Happy Birthday. I'm sure you'll get one if it's a special occasion and they are aware of it. :)

I'm also the planner in our family, and I say go for it. Why not?
Only you and Debi or Meredyth would know it was you that did it. :)

If it is a special occasion, I would call back and ask if you can send a few photos for the personalized menu. I also put a little message on it for my kids.
Debbi was very helpful, and actually suggested I put a messsage on the menu, as I was unsure what to do.

Thanks Tink

I think I'll go ahead and plan it as soon as I can make my ADR's. It will still be a surprise since I won't know when during dinner, they will come down. :teeth:

I just got back, and all I have to say is call to confirm.
I was so disapointed.
We arrived, they seemed aware of what was going on, I was so exicted because Ihad kept the secret so long.
They seated us, a partyof 6 at a table for 5, squeezed us in. Then realized we should have been closer so we had to get up with our drinks and move.
Then I asked where my menus were, they came back with generic ones printed probably at that moment, Granted they said happy birthday, but I had been in contact with Debi, and I had a personal message as well as pics that were supposed to be there.
Then we waited thru 2 other signs, and 2 hours to find out that the diver had supposedly gone to the other side of the tank and we never saw him.
I was so disapointed I thought I was going to cry.
The manager apologized but we had already been there almost 2 hours waiting, so we left without ever seeing the diver.
So call to confirm!!!!!, and if you don't see the diver keep asking.

It was, I was just so looking forward to my kids faces when they saw the driver. My DD even asked if her name was on the paper once. I was so upset.
It was also quite cold while we were there, we still had fun but could not use the pool as much as we would have liked.
Overall the Coral Reef was very nice, we would have really have enjoyed it if it had gone the way it was supposed to!

Hope everyone else has better luck!
