Coral Reef changes menu again!

I have been(and still am) excited about our upcoming meal at CR. In fact, I have been dreaming about the Ahi Tuna which is one of my favorite types of fish. Now Allears has posted a new menu and it isn't even on there. It seems like for a sea themed restaurant they certainly don't have many seafood offerings. If anyone can check for me when they are there in the next week or two I would appreciate it.

The menu at CR changes often. We have seen many changes to the menu this year. We just ate there last week, but for lunch, and have to say that menu is absolutely correct for lunch. Sorry, I didn't notice the dinner menu. Since this is a seafood restraurant the menu changes because of availability. Or maybe they took the tuna off before the free ddp starts. We have eaten at CR 4 times this year and the meals are always near the top of our favorite list. We have another ADR there for the next trip in Oct.

DON'T BELIEVE EVERYTHING YOU READ (or don't read) ON ANY UNOFFICIAL SITE! Compare the 8/07 menu at allears to the 8/07 menu at wdwinfo.com and you will see the ONLY - yes, I said ONLY - differences between the two menus are:
They list different prices for the Grilled NY Strip Steak
One site has lists a Bacarian cheesecake, while the other lists a Bavarian cheesecake
And, yes, the tuna is missing from the allears menu.

Guess what? PEOPLE type those menus into the computer!!! And, PEOPLE make mistakes!! A few months ago, somebody on that site missed entering the Le Cellier mushroom filet. It was still on the menu, but because it wasn't on a website, there was a HUGE uproar over here!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am at Disney right now. We ate at the Coral reef yesterday. They do have the tuna. I was not crazy about the food. I don't think I would go back. If I was not on the free food plan I would be very mad at what I ate and how much I paid. Disney's food so far has not been very good. Chef Mickey has been the worst so far. Tonight is Ohana I hope it gets better.

OP, it can be so frustrating when you're looking forward to something on the menu and the menu changes (whether you're at a Disney restaurant or your local restaurant. )

If you're still craving ahi tuna and can change your ADRs, Jiko has a tikka marinated ahi tuna item on its appetizer menu. I haven't had it yet, but it's gotten rave reviews and I think I'm going to try it when we go in October.

I see the Ahi Tuna is still on (back on?) the Dis menus, looks like you are OK.

Since menus can and do change, any restaurant that only had one offering my picky son would eat was stricken from our list.

Just got back from the Coral Reef. My wife ordered Ahi Tuna . Server told us that in 2 weeks it will be dropped from the menu. She indicated that there are several chefs that are upset because Disney is taking away thier freedom of choices for thier menus.
