It is the newest Vacation Club, which was created by taking WL rooms and converting them to villas.

It is the (south?) wing of WL. The other side is still regular resort rooms.

I'm directionally challenged, so I have no idea which side is to the south. It is to the right as you enter the lobby from the DME drop-off side, to the left if you are entering from the pool side.

Disney took the south side of the main building and the south wing and converted it from standard hotel rooms to a combination of Studios, 1 BR, 2 BR and 3 BR Grand villas.

Note: In addition Disney added the luxury cabins along the edges of Bay lake.

I am, too. The south side is the side that is closer to Boulder Ridge/original dvc building. Close to the bus stop if that makes sense.
