is it possible to buy a printer copier and just plug it in and use only copier feature? Does it need to be hooked up to a computer to work. I want a copier for school but will be making copies from a hard copy not the printer part of it.

I'm 99% sure that would work fine.

I work in the copier industry and I have yet to see one that had to be connected to a PC/network to copy. You should be fine.

Should work fine ... price them based on the cost of ink cartridges. Look for one with a screen that shows status of ink levels since you won't have it hooked to a computer

Thanks everyone. I have asked this question before and never got an answer. If you all have any recommendations for a good one that uses inexpensive ink I am all ears(no pun):rotfl2:
