You just have to hope that no one else is searching for that exact reservation at that exact same time. Its a tough World when it comes to bagging reservations!
I gave a CRT reservation away a couple of days ago. It was my first attempt at a transfer, but the person it was going to had done it before. She said that she's had it go into Disney limbo, and show up exactly an hour after it was released. Sure enough, that's exactly what happened. It didn't show up online, or by her calling, and 1 hour after I dropped it, she was able to pick it up. Not sure why, but that's how it worked for us.

With all the problems I am hearing about this is what I have been doing.
1. Encourage other person to be on computer not app ( I have been able to see many of my dropped ADRs on my laptop when those using the app have not seen them)
2. I tell the other person to start searching and then I wait about 30 seconds to do the drop.
I gave a colleague a BOG reservation yesterday.
We were sitting together both on our own computer.
She was set up with the time and date all ready to go.
I hit cancel and a moment later she hit "find table" and there it was. She grabbed it!
