Cooler in rooms

Do the resorts care if you have a mid size cooler in your room? I'm not talking about our lunch and beverages for the week - just some cool space for some yogurt, cheese, fruit etc? Don't really want to rent a fridge - would not use it that much otherwise. Of course we would be using the resort ice - not that much at a time, but I don't want to take advantage of the situation either

Not a problem at all. I've done the cooler thing a couple of times and know others have, too. Don't feel guilty about it at all. Just be sure that if you're using one of the collapsible vinyl coolers that you leave it in the tub just in case it leaks. I just bring the ice bucket with the extra liner bag and fill them up with ice at the ice machine. My DH has even just brought the cooler right to the ice machine to fill it up.

Or buy a styrofoam cooler at the grocery store for $4.00 and leave it behind. More room for souvenirs...........

We used cooler in the room ,we also filled one of the trash cans and used that to.Just remember to put it in the bath tub, because it sweats.

I always take my cooler with us and keep it in the rooms...It's one of those collaspable ones and never had a problem with it...always have cold drinks when returning from the parks and cold OJ in the morning...

Oh yes we always bring our cooler!! Even at the Deluxes so yes bring it!!

We also bring a cooler with us, since we drive down to WDW. We've never had a problem either, and our cooler is pretty big. We usually buy a bag or two of ice just before we enter WDW property, then supplement with ice from the resort machines.

It really does help to have OJ, milk, and fruit/veggies in the room for easier breakfasts and some healthier snacking!
