Cool Groomsmen Gift

Hi guys!

I just came from a bridal party at Bloomies. Some magazine person told us all about these really neat personalized harmonicas that are apparently really popular for groomsmen gifts. I just did a google search and found that they are everywhere. I kind of assume that everyone has heard of them - but I hadn't and I think its kind of fun. So I thought I would share.

Anyhoo they range from $20 for stainless steel to $325 for Tiffanys sterling.

Harmonicas? Really? I am picturing all the GM's in our wedding sitting around in tuxes playing them now lol! That would be a fun photo!

I am not sure about spending $325 on one though... My dad, DF and I got them once as a joke with our tickets at six flags, maybe that is why I can't really appriciate the idea. I have memories of the 3 of us nuts playing our harmonicas as we were leaving the park (my poor mothers ears that day lol)

I'd be afraid to give those to the best man and man of honor. They would play them forever and annoy everyone. And they wouldn't know how to play them. I guess it could be a cool gift, but I don't really see myself doing that. But maybe my friend who's having an out back country style wedding.

Last weekend I bought a new bridal magazine and it had a picture/ad for this in it. My initial reaction was "who the heck would want that for a groomsmen gift?" How funny that that they are actually a really popular item! I can't see giving them to anybody in my family (and if I did I can see them "playing" them all night long just to annoy me) but I guess they appeal to somebody or they wouldn't be advertising/selling them!
