I am creating this thread as a place to share some of your favorite "Must have" Disney shots. Of course we all get pictures of the castle, the geosphere at EPCOT and such...but share some unique angles, interesting compositions.

My last trip to the World I had a 4YO in tow and didn't have a lot of time to spend composing my photos. I am hoping to make another trip next fall with just my boyfriend and I. We both love photography and would love tips, suggestions, examples of some neat angles, perspectives, compositions of all things Disney. It could be park icons, rides, landscapes, characters, with or without people. No limits. Just looking for some cool new ideas of things and/or ways to photograph Disney.

I will start off with a few of my own:

Shot down Main Street toward the entrance. (I would imagine not many people take pictures facing this direction down Main Street.)

Duffy...or at least his awesome Mickey paw!

Main Street balloons...(On my photo list for next time...a balloon shot with the castle in the background!)

Cool shot rmattman. I don't think I have ever seen that Dumbo statue...have to look for that next time!

If you're looking for inspiration for some different shots, a good thread well worth a look is one on here called "Show me photos an average tourist won't take .." or something similarly worded. Some amazing photos in there.

Here are a couple from my last trip.
1-The Tower of Terror when the doors are open.

2-Space Mountain when you take off.

Here is one I took from an angle not always seen. During Star Wars Weekend they open up behind RnR for Darth Maul's shop and that is how I was able to get this angle.

Thank you. I was trying to think of a different way to shoot it.

I spent the better part of 19 days (less almost half of them when I was too sick to know what I was doing!) last month trying to get different photos to mix in with the typical vacation shots. It's amazing what you notice when you want to!

I love that one of Tink you posted. That is so simple yet so different :thumbsup2

Thanks again. Yep, I think you gotta shoot the details. That's part of your overall experience. Think like a coffee table book.

Do you know that is one sentence that stuck in my mind from your eBook! I can honestly say it changed the way I looked at things. Aside from the typical vacation snapshots of my DD, more than half of my photos are of details. Your eBook is BRILLIANT!! :)

Is this thread for WDW pics only or can DLR pics be added?
