Cooking without propane for a group of 45

Ah.

The ubiquitous hobo dinners.

I have memories of eating rare (cooked) meat and undercooked potatoes.

And what would it be without some burned fingertips?

Oh the memories (suppressed) come flooding back.

My husbands scout troop loves the foil dinners and the dutch ovens. A great breakfast one is ziplock bags where everyone makes their own omlet. Drop in eggs or eggbeaters, then add cheese, peppers, onions, sausage, bacon or anything you wish. Then just drop them in boiling water.

I thought each site had a charcoal grill? You can cook in waves.....or bring a large Crockpot.... I put chicken or pork and cover it w/ BBQ sauce and shred to make sandwiches...just have coleslaw or beans and chips. Plus if you use a crockpot liner then you can throw it away!
