I need to make cookies on a stick for DD's Birthday (I need 24). I would like to use pre-made cookie dough if possible (I'm not a good baker!) has anyone ever done this?? Thanks! I tried to order them but at $3.00 a cookie I decided to make them myself.

I have done this but I used homemade sugar cookies and rolled the dough just a little thicker. I imagine if you used the roll type and cut them a little thicker than normal it would work. I used popsicle sticks, cut the cookie and slid the stick in and baked with it in the cookie. Allow to cool completely, then gently ice the cookie and decorate.

I displayed mine in a flower pot filled with the floral foam. I placed alittle piece of foil over the foam to cover it, and then put about half a cup of teddy grahams over that for effect. The kids loved them. So did the adults. You can also bag them individually using little celophane baggies and ribbon.

I had bought the Halloween sugar cookies from the grocery store, the ones you just place on the sheet and cook and on the tips on the back it said just insert a stick in them and cook.

Wilton also has a pan designed just for cookies on a stick. I used the lollipop sticks that you can buy at Michaels in the Wilton section. They worked very well. Have fun!
