Oh i hope one of you wonderful baking people can help me!

I did a search here and can't find it, but know i read about a cookie made from cake (box) batter. Does anyone know where i can find that post, or can you post the recipe again?

I really do know how to bake cookies ;) and have made several kinds. But i need one more batch and thought this would be a yummy and easy quickie.

TIA for any help you can give me!

I just made these the other day

2 eggs and 1/2 cup oil....roll into balls and cinnoman and sugar. cook 350 for 10 min.

Easy and yummy!

Oh THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!

You guys are great!!

This board ROCKS!

I'll let you know how they turn out!!!

HUGS TO ALL!!! :) :) :)

Got another one for you:

1 box cake mix (Devil's food or Swiss chocolate work best)
1 egg
1 8oz container cool whip, thawed
Powdered sugar for rolling

Mix first three ingredients together. Dough will be sticky. Drop by teaspoon into bowl of powdered sugar and then roll into a ball about 3/4 of an inch size. Bake at 350 for 13 minutes on parchment paper. Delicious!!!

WOW, first tray is done, definitely deeee - lish !!! :cool1:

Thanks again everyone! :goodvibes

There are so many wonderful things you can do with the cake mix cookies. I put mini m&m's in a chocolate mix and my kids love them. I also put toffee bits into a yellow mix and they are to die for. You can make up a batch of red velvet cake mix and frost them with cream cheese frosting. Make a batch of yellow or white and roll them in red or green sugar before baking for "Hollidoodles". The sky is the limit. If you can find an orange mix, try adding mini chocolate chips to them. Yummy! I just bought a strawberry mix, and plan on making those today and then drizzling them with melted white chocolate.

Try them and you'll never go back to traditional cookies again!

Devils Food cake (mixed as above-2 eggs and 1/2 cup oil) rolled in powdered sugar is our favorite.

Just for future reference -These are very easy and pretty. They look kind of spring like -they would be good for easter or a baby shower or something like that. Basically any cake mix can be made into a cookie -just leave out the water.

You may be right; these are so delicious and much easier than ANY cookies i've ever made!

So far today i've made:

- Snickerdoodles
- Heath bar (toffee) and chocoate
- Chocolate rolled in powdered sugar
- yellow rolled in granulated sugar

And each box makes about 3 1/2 dozen!

My family have tried them all and we've agreed they'll be a new Christmas tradition!

Thank you so much, everyone!!!
