Cookie Painting at AKL?

Can anyone tell me if the cookie painting at AKL is at the same time every week and if we need to reserve spots for our kids ahead of time? We'll be staying there and I thought that might be a fun thing to do one afternoon or evening.

when we last stayed their and the kids really enjoyed it. It was a nice activity for a day away from the parks or for when you take a mid-day break. They do recommend that you do call and make reservations so that they can better plan.

Hello! When we've stayed at AKL cookie decorating has been at 1pm at Boma. You definitely don't need to reserve a spot - nor could you, I don't think It's just not necessary. If you'll be there during a busy time, just plan to get there right on time and ENJOY! AKL has a lot of great, educational and FUN activities for children.

We have never called ahead but go the week after Thanksgiving. They do a nice job ... give each kids a cookie or two or three ... have several "tubes" of frosting on the table in a variety of colors ... and they have other stuff, I think...all I can remember is gummies.

It is a short activity, though, unless you have a very artistic child ... The cookies decorate quickly but it is lots of fun.

When we stayed at AKL in 2002, we tried to do the cookie decorating on a very stormy day. There were lots of kids wanting to attend this activity. They only took those with reservations and the first few in line. I would definitely reserve a spot. I'm guessing that you usually don't need one but you wouldn't want to miss out like we did.
