When we were at ASMO last year children were chosen to be chef of the day and decorate cookies. Does this happen at every resort and how are the children chosen?

Thanks in advance!

Never heard of it at the resorts but my DD was picked to be Chef for the Day at the Coral Reef restaurant in Epcot. She wore a white coat and a chef's hat for the meal, had a table by the fish tank without even asking, and got to meet the chef and he presented her with a free dessert of peanut butter playdough! The divers spent quite a bit of time swimming past our table and feeding the fish for her to see too. She also got a certificate and had her pic taken for their album!
I also know they have cookies for dessert at certain restaurants that come with edible paints and decos. Sophia had one at the buffet in Norway. We paid for that though.
I am sure this doesn't help you but it's the best I have.

They had cookie decorating at AKL both times we stayed there.. every afternoon around 1pm in Boma.. there were quite a few kids and I do not believe you have to be a resort guest... people were just coming down from the lobby area.

Here are a couple of pics
