Convinced DH to pay OOP for Narcoossee...

and I just hope it's good! We had a ADR for there, then cancelled it because we felt it wasn't a good use of 2 credits... but we really wanted to try a signature this trip and heard so many great things about here. This will be the first time we've been to a signature, I just hope it's as good as people say it is!!

We loved our meal at Narcoossee's last trip, but don't expect a fancy restaurant. The food was outstanding, yet the atmosphere was very comfortable, almost homey. It was by far the best family meal we have ever had at Disney. Just don't expect V&A!

Narcoosses is a really nice place to enjoy a good meal with a cozy atmosphere. It is not fancy, but the service is outstanding and the food is excellent.

It's my favorite restaurant on property!!! Their filet mignon is amazing and I love love love their almond crusted cheesecake. It's perfection!!!

Thanks everyone! I can't wait to try the cheesecake! I booked an 8pm ADR so we can stay to see Wishes.... I think it will be a nice evening... it's our last full day, and I tried to plan a special night before we left the next day... I'm sure we will have a fun time! Neither of us are super fancy people - we like good food but not a stuffy atmosphere, so from what everyone has said, it sounds like we will really enjoy dinner here!

Best restaurant in Disney!!! We have been there a few times including Christmas Day, this year we will be there on our anniversary. We have always had a great experience.

You're gonna really enjoy it. Space your meal to catch Wishes. If it's not too crowded, request a table by the window. The cheesecake is so good!

We went last year and are going back this year with a couple family friends. It makes for a very nice evening seeing Wishes from the veranda while sipping wine!

This upcoming June will be our 7th visit to WDW since we first went there in 2008. The one thing that is consistent for us is that Narcoossee's is always a part of our vacation. Other than V&A it is my favorite restaurant in WDW and is a must do for us. The Barbecue-grilled Shrimp and Grits as an appetizer is amazing and what else can be said about the Almond-Crusted Cheesecake other than it is out of this world fantastic. Your arrival time will be a perfect time to watch the Electric Water Pageant and Wishes.

It's our favorite restaurant onsite by far.
I would echo what previous posters have said, it's not V & A's but the service that we have had has always been fantastic, it has a relaxed atmosphere & the food is superb, the wine list is varied & interesting.
We usually aim for an 8pm reservation & always ask for a table by the window so we can look across at the castle, everyone raves about watching Wishes from the Cali Grill but in our opinion the view from Narcoossee's is far superior.

I think they even pipe in the music on the outside deck. Remember to check the fireworks schedule prior to making the reservation. I had a reservation once at a restaurant in EPCOT with a great view to watch illuminations only to find out the fireworks were an hour later than I planned.

Yeah, it is 2cr... and we had it booked.... then they took away the surf and turf and cancelled because we felt it wasn't worth the cost of 2cr.... BUT I really wanted to try it after reading all of the wonderful reviews, so I convinced DH to pay OOP for it, so I re-booked!!! Phew..., I know, quite a story!!
