Well, I should say convince my DH & DM!;)

We(me, DH, 2 DSs, DM & 2 DNs) are booked for 6 nights at ASMO. The last day of our trip we plan to do MK, take a break to swim, go back to MK, eat dinner at the Kona(Poly), then watch the EWP from the beach.

Now that the new codes are out, Im thinking of switching to the Poly for the last day/night of our stay. The 2 major drawbacks are its more money(this was supposed to be a "cheap" trip), and the whole packing up and moving stuff. Now the pros are, its the POLY(thats enough for me), it will be easy transportation for that whole day, my kids love the pool there, and Im sure my neices will enjoy the waterslide along with the pool. Plus, my neices have never stayed in a deluxe so I think this would be exciting for them.

Both DH and DM say they will do whatever I want to do(Im the psycho planner of the group), but it really doesnt sound like they are too thrilled about moving.

So, what would you do? Oh and I should add, we did this one night at the Poly on our last trip and it worked fine. We had no problem moving. :)

Go for it. I am staying one night at the Poly for the beginning ofmy trip, it just seems and sounds so magical. then I move on to BWI for 2 nights then it is on to the portfino for 2 nights. I always life out of my suitcase, so much easier, don't forget you are on vaction, go and have agreat time. Oh I forgot, your kids will only be this age once, they grow before your eyes.Have fun no matter what you do:)

I would absolutely go for it! :) It's only one night so that shouldn't hurt your budget too badly, and since you've done this before, you know exactly how to handle it.

Have a wonderful trip!!! The Polynesian even for one night would be worth it!!! :)

Definately go for it! The Poly is my favorite and I can't imagine any better way to end a WDW vacation.

Well, we all got together tonight and of course we ended up going for it! DH & DM kept saying they dont care, either way will work, there are pros and cons both ways, etc... Finally DH said why prolong this, you know we are going to do it, and we did! Aloha!:D

I was just going to reply saying "go for it!" and I see that you made the right choice! ;) Since you had no problem switching last trip, I'm sure you'll have no problem doing it again! And, after staying at the Polynesian in July, when you go back in August you'll want to be there again! Have fun!!!

You are so right! :D DH & I(w/out the kids) were originally booked for Pop Century(when it was still on schedule) for this one night in July. Then we stayed at the Poly for one night last Sept. As soon as I walked out to the beach/pool area I said "Now I remember why I love it here so much. We have to stay here in July!". I just know when we are there in July Ill be saying the same thing about August. Plus,Im sure if we didnt do it, while we were "visiting" for dinner and stuff, I would be kicking myself for not staying there. DH knows he would have to listen to me too, so I think thats why he went along with it. :D

If you don't mind packing up and moving for your last night, then go for it! Have a great time!:)

If you have no problem packing, unpacking, then packing again, then I say do it. Personally I hate the idea of staying in a resort less than 4 nights. I like for my vacation to seem as much like being at home as possible....thus not living out of a suitcase. I'm sure the kids won't mind where they stay. If you do all the packing, etc I'm sure the other adults won't put up much of a fuss. Never stayed at Poly...looks like a nice place. Have a great time.

We were staying off-site and decided to switch to Dolphin for last night to save our trip. It was the best decision we made. The packing and unpacking was so quick and easy, we barely noticed it. Having that amazing pool and easy access to Epcot and BW really for 2 days (1 night) made it all worthwhile. Staying at the Polynesian would even be better. I'm so glad you decided to go for it.
