Convince me to try Boma!

I would recommend you don't listen to anything any of us have to say.:rotfl2:

As you can see from the posts it is either the best place around or the restaurant from Hell. The reality is that everyone has different tastes and the only person you should trust is yourself.

Our family thinks Boma is hands down the best buffet at WDW, but as I said earlier.... DON'T LISTEN TO US!!!!

Exactly. The only way to know if you'll like it is to try it.

DON'T do it! We all hated it!

Somehow, I'm thinking that post isn't going to convince anyone. Nor does it provide much value in that there is no reason given.

I've noticed that people that hate Boma tend to give no reasons. Somehow, I guess, we should just avoid something because someone on the internet who we don't know told us, with no reason given?

:confused3

I say try it. :cool1: You won't know if you'll like it unless you go.

DH and I LOVE Boma. I mean, we REALLY LOVE that restaurant!!! We go every single trip, its a must do for us. The food is different but exciting! DH and I went a few years back and have been hooked ever since. We love the meats, soups, salads, hummus and esp the desserts!
They do have a small area with chix nuggets, mac n cheese, spaghetti as well.

I hope that, because you really want to try it, you decide to go for it.

Boma's is exotic enough to be different, but safe enough to appeal t the masses. DH and the kids don't really like exotic but they LOVE Boma.

The soups are out of this world. Not crazy flavors, just subltle flavors that are incredible.

The mashed sweet potatoes are incredible, and I love the Bobbuti (spelling). And the best part at the end is the zebra domes. Just totally incredible.

We love Jiko and always choose Jiko over Boma. Last month we had more nights to fill with dinners so we added Boma in addition to Jiko. I thought it was okay, but not someplace I HAVE to return to in the near future. The price was very reasonable I thought. Jiko is more expensive but the food there is more my style, too.

We absolutely love Boma for dinner! The flavors have a lot of cinnamon, which we love. Some of my favorites are the soups, salads (love the cilantro dressing), fufu (omg sweet potato heaven!), browned salmon, zebra domes, coconut tiramisu (i forget the exact name), i could go on & on...

I would give it a try at least once; you'll prob be pleasantly surprised :yay:
