I'm planning on cooking a dinner for my mother's birthday, and wanted to surprise her by making the recipe for the 50's Prime Time pot roast.
The recipe seems easy enough, but I'd prefer to make it in my crockpot if possible. It just makes it easier for me to actually enjoy being with my family instead of being stuck in the kitchen all night.
I did a little research online about converting recipes, but am a bit confused. They all say to reduce the amount of water in the recipe, but how do I know how much to reduce it by. The recipe calls for 7 1/2 cups beef boullion. Anyone have any ideas how much this should be reduced by?
Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated!
