Convention Ticket Question

Good morning! I've never been to Disneyland, but am attending a professional conference in Anaheim in early April and plan on making a side visit to DL afterwards for 2-3 days. I noticed on the conference website this morning, that convention tickets are offered to convention attendees via a special link to the Disney website.

My question: Has anyone ever purchased Disneyland convention tickets? I'm wondering if those tickets have a Magic Morning early-entry benefit, like "regular" tickets do. The definition doesn't specifically say the tickets include this benefit.

BTW, the website does offer tickets "after 4 p.m.", but I'm not interested in those, only the all-day tickets.

I haven't used a convention ticket in a very long time, and park operations have changed greatly since.

I think with the current DLR convention tickets, they are all just regular tickets. You need to stay onsite to get the perk of Morning Magic.

If you are visiting in early April I would suggest three days and also doing a after 4 night. It will be busy and DLR has a lot to offer.

Since the convention tix are technically discounted they don't include any other promos or extras so you have to shop carefully on those for the best deals.

OP here; thank you for the replies. The "fine print" of the tickets doesn't mention MM being included - guess I was just hoping it would be! Six Day Park Hopper convention tickets are $61 less than buying on-line, and $81 less than buying at the gate. That's pretty significant, so of course I wonder if there are any other things not included besides MM. Luckily I still have awhile to think about it!
