Convention resorts

Why is there no availability in September for Disney resorts that have a convention center? Where can I find a list of what is going on at the Disney resorts convention centers.

Which resort are you looking at? I just pulled up Coronado Spring for the first week in September and there is availability. 2nd week, I didn't see anything. 3rd week, there is availability. And availability the last week in September. I'm not sure if you are specifically looking at CS, but that's the one typically booked for conventions.

I looked at the Contemporary which also has a large convention center and various room categories show availability. What dates are you looking at?

I am looking at the middle of September. Thank you for all your help maybe I will do some switching

Seriously not sure what combination of days you are looking at, but since I was slightly bored waiting on an email response here is what I found for the 5 convention hotels: CSR, YC/BC, BWI, CR, GF (Note, I was searching just under the standard room rates, not packages)

• 9/1-9/3; 9/4-9/10; 9/18-9/24; 9/25-10/1
  • All had availability
• 9/11-9/17
  • No availability at CSR or YC/BC

Since Food & Wine and MNSSHP are happening during September, I can easily see the 4 resorts walking distances to parks being full. It might just be the combo of days you are looking for. Maybe try changing by a day or two to see if something changes.

Gartnet, an IT consultancy, usually has a conference in September , and usually has a private event in one of the parks (entire park rental).

I think you may mean the major Gartner IT Symposium which is usually around the 3rd week of October. This year it is Oct. 17-20 and based at the usual location host site of the Swan & Dolphin ( and now the Swan Reserve ).

The conference does book rooms at all the deluxe resorts and even the Moderates for a range of guest pricing.

Note for anyone interested in attending bookings open on May 19th (Thursday).
