Convenient to travel to DTD for dinner?

How much of a hassle is it to travel to DTD for a dinner ADR?

I guess if you were going to be coming from a resort-say, BW or WL. Are they long rides?

We are fine taking the busses to the parks, yet the ones to DTD always seem like a hassle and it seems to take forever to get there and back. We love DTD for shopping and dining and so we always have money tucked a way for a taxi on our DTD day.

Depending on where your resort is, it can take a long time. If you are at Pop, CBR, SSR, OKW, POR or POFQ the ride isn't that long if you are going to the marketplace. It's always long for PI because you have to stop at the Marketplace first.

If you are at a park...you can't get a direct bus to DTD at all. You have to go to a resort to find a DTD bus. Easiest thing to do in a park is find a resort within walking distance, which is harder to do at Studios (while you can walk to Boardwalk, it's not as close as some would prefer) or AK (no resorts within walking distance at all).
