I need to know the following from two different people. (1) An Old-Timer who purchased around 1991 or 1992, and (2) A Newbie who just purchased in the last few months.

Purchase means you bought direct from Disney (not a resale), AND it is your very first purchase (not an add-on). Resales retain the numbers associated with the original buyer. Add-on's retain their number associated with the initial original contract

Question 1: How many digits is your membership number. I need to know if they're all 12-digit numbers or if old timers have shorter numbers and newbies have longer numbers.

Question 2: How many digits is your base contract number. This is the basic contract without the extensions. EG contract 12345.000 would have a base number of 12345, or 5 digits. I know there are 4-digit contract numbers and there are 5-digit contract numbers. Does any old-timer have a contract fewer than 4 digits? Does a newbie have a contract greater than 5-digits.

For reference, if you have a base contract and 3 add-on's, your contract number might look like this: 12345.000/001/002/003 where the base number is 12345.

Thanks for your help. :cheer2:

If you're curious why I'm asking such a strange question, click the link in the signature below and look at the 3rd column.. :badpc:

Hi Bill,

Newbies here, we purchased in February.

Contract # is 7 numbers long
Member # is 12 numbers long

I hope this helps!

I'm a "Mid" timer, bought in '98.

I have a 7 digit contract number.

Our member numbers (we have four) are all 12 digits.

Our contract numbers vary from 4 digits to 7 digits. The 4 digit contract was purchased by us in 1993. The others were all resales and at least one of those was an older contract than our '93 contract but now has 5 digits and one resale now has 7 digits. Our last purchase was in 1999.

Hope this helps!

I know of two families that bought in late 1991 & have three digit numbers.

Bill...

Mine is 12 digits, purchased in 03.

Sending you some "pixie dust" :wizard: because I just know you are working on upgrading your "Caskbill Planner" !!
