So I swear I have read that people have stayed on things like the People Mover in Tomorrowland. Is that true? What about the trains (at MK and AK)? I am trying to plan small options for possible naps if needed. Sorry if this has been asked before! and Thank YOU!!!

just remember that the trains sound the loud horn often going round the park and I am not sure if you can stay of train in AK like you can in MK

If there isn't a line then they will let you stay on the people mover more then once. If there is a line they will make you get off and get back in line again.

For naps I would try some of the longer, darker, AC rides...
Hunted Mansion
Carousel of Progress
Country Bears
Hall of Presidents
Spaceship Earth
American Adventure
Ellen's Energy Adventure

I don't know any in Studios or AK. Those place you just might want to find a cool places to hang out.

MK train you can ride round and round as long as you'd like.

AK train usually makes you get off (it doesn't go "around" the park, just to Rafiki's and back to Africa). My son often fell asleep during shows (and even the parades). Philharmagic, Captain EO, Muppets - he was out like a light!

We stayed on People Mover last week, as there was plenty of empty seats. It was so nice :) We just asked the cast member, if we could stay on.

Carousel of Progress is great for naps :)

Also, when we were on the train at AK, they allowed a family to ride back without getting off. This was in Feb of this year.

Other than the train, it's going to completely depend on whether there's a line or not, so not something you can count on. Do you need the motion for the nap? If not, then any of the shows would work for a good break. As others have mentioned, things like Carousel of Progress, Hall of Presidents, Tiki Lounge, are options. Another thought is the monorail loop outside of MK.

We've been able to stay on People Mover a few times, but there's been several times we've had to get off because of a line. Our toddler falls asleep on it every time.

Thanks all :) Both my kids sleep through loud noises, though not sure about the on/off. Thank you for all the thoughts!

It really just depends on the line. You also might try the monorail when at Epcot and MK. No one will make you get off the monrail.
