I bought my airline tix thru continental last week. Of course, now SWA has a sale that would have saved me $100.00!!! If the rates go down for continental, do they give vouchers for the difference? Or am I stuck with the higher rate completely? The rates are not lower yet, but continental, and the other airlines, may match SWA's new lower rates, and if they do, I would like to know the policy. Anyone know, or have experience with Continental in this area? TIA!!! :wizard:

Continental has so many different rules on their fares. Having said that, there is always some kind of change fee ranging from $25.00 to $100.00. If the fare goes down, you can get future travel vouchers for the difference in price, less the fee.

I guess I will have to see if I can get at least SOME credit! Thanks!! :dog2:

I just called Continental, and they charge $100.00 per ticket to make changes. So I guess I am stuck with a higher rate, and no credit toward a future purchase. I almost went with SWA, but it was cheaper at the time, by quite alot, to go with Continental. Also, we liked the flight times alot better, and Continental is partners with ME, making the trip home easier. I guess the better flight times and the ME ease are worth the $100.00, but I hate missing a good deal!!!
