I booked flights on Continental out of Cleveland. I did two transactions for my family of five to get a lower price on 3 of them. The other two seats were booked at a slightly higher fare. When I purchased the tickets and tried to select seats, nothing showed up as available on the seat map.
I completed the purchases and received email confirmations for both transactions.
When I went back to continental's website to "manage my reservations", it said that they were unable to assign seats at the time of purchase and that I could select them when checking in. Should I be nervous about this? Anyone with Continental experience that can put my mind at ease?
P.S. The flights no longer show up as available when booking for those dates.
