Continental changed my March Flights. No problem.

As frequently happens .... my flight from Manchester to MCO was changed with minor time difference, so I simply accepted the changes. The flight to Manchester from MCO required a phone call to Continental, but as usual, ended up with a better time and better flight. Just in case you have continental/united flights, it may be worth a peak.

Yep, very good advice. We're flying with Continental in a few days and there were quite a few changes since we booked back in May. Most of the time changes were minor but the flight numbers on all four segments changed in the last few months. This was due to the harmonizing of United and Continental operations during the merger which should be done by mid 2012.

I just checked our United flights. There is no change the day we leave, however the day we come back it has been moved back 1 hour, nothing major. Did you have any trouble with customer services when you called United?

I called Continental, since I booked a united flight through their website. I have never had a bad experience with them. They even looked for a better flight for me (shorter travel time) and I get more sleep on my departure day!

Oddly, I've never had any trouble with any airline for this kind of re-booking.

One of my best experiences was with Air Canada. One of our flights was cancelled outright and we were placed on some gawd awful route with too many stops, so I phoned and mentioned that I was on their website looking at flights for my day of travel and all she said was, "Tell me which flights you would like." I picked the best ones for us and it was done, no problem.

I've had the same kind of experience with United and Continental.
