My guess is 10 with a lot of conflicting and worthless directions by his family.

I would guess 3 times and then all the neighbors started to come out of their house to watch the show. Then Rog decided to unhook it and just push it into the driveway.:lmao::lmao:

Any other guesses??

I'll say nine attempts, got out of vehicle, threw hands up in the air out of frustration and with his masculinity now in doubt walked over to his neighbor who has owned an RV for years and sheepishly asked for assistance. Neighbor got it in in 1 try.

Well, the hitch is pointed the right way for a back-in, score one for Rog. If he simply pushed it into place he'd have it nicely lined up with the edge of the driveway, and it looks like it's a bit out of line. Score 2 for Rog. No crowd of neighbors passing beers around while they watch the show, though, so maybe he wasn't the one backing it in. Score that one a draw.

I'll say 3 tries, with one of those declared simply a re-adjustment rather than a new attempt (because the wheels didn't touch the street), so he'll score it as a 2.

One final thing though, I don't see the truck. I'll start a new line that he forgot to put it in park and it rolled down the street when he unhitched. That's why he didn't make it back until the 6th picture. :lmao:

i am guessing rog did it in one try... a very slow attempt but, i have faith in him..

:flower3:

I'm gonna guess it took him one time,,cause he got his family outside and they PUSHED it into the drive so he wouldn't hav'ta back it !:lmao:

Kidd'n man , you know we love you.:goodvibes

Im guessing at least twice. Im very experienced but unless I do it every day I have at least one over steer each time. So my vote is 2.

Him being an inexpenciened newbie....I would say at least 12 times before someone took pity...if no pity was present I would have to guess 20 to 24 times. But truth be told all us were (or am currently) inexpencienced backer-enders at one time. Everyone at one at time or the other have been the entertainment for the neighbors and the campground at the beginning. And they only do it to you because it was done to them. :rotfl:

0 he drove in frontwards and unhooked. lol Rog here is 2 of the best peices of advise i received when we got our new trailer. Maybe someone has given it already but here they go anyway. When backing up steer from the bottom of your steering wheel, the way you want the trailer to go steer it that way. The other is slow and minor turns of the wheel dont over steer it. Man I envy you. I loved that feeling of a new to us trailer.

Well, if his experience goes like ours ....he backed it in, his wife said it looked good but he wasn't satisfied. It needs a little "tweaking". After adjusting and readjustng and getting frustrated and then giving up to have a beer, his wife gets in the truck, interprets his hand motions, and puts it in place effortlessly.

...slowly I turned; inch by inch; step by step!!

I say he got it the second try. Rog is smart. And, YEP! The old "put your hand at the six o'clock position on the steering wheel before backing" is the best advice. If you want the trailer to go right, turn the wheel right, and vice versa. You go very slowly & inch the wheel. The shorter the trailer the faster the jack-knife - so GO SLOW!!

..Rog is smart!!

Rog IS smart....I had my brother-in-law go pick it up and bring it to my house...he backed it up in 2 tries. I still have to install a hitch on my truck!!!!!

YOU GUYS ARE FRIGGIN NUTZ!!!!!!!:rotfl2:

hopefully I'll have my hitch on by today.....then the first thing Im gonna do if find a far away deserted parking lot and practice my butt off where no one can watch and laugh for entertainment!! :rolleyes1Then its off to the campground.
