contemporay resort help

Hi everyone on the boards . I have 2 question about the contemporary resort

One being about a room upgrade I hade booked a 3nitght 4 day tip with dining to add an extra day to my trip so that we can us or sky miles . I just to booked a AAA discount room in the garden wing for the first night of my trip and I have a magical kingdom view for the rest of my trip do you think I can get a bump up to the MKV seeing that I have a 3night reservation .

The second does anyone think It would be better to rent a stroller for my 5yr old nice or should I buy one if so dose any one know the cp sell them if so how much .

If you want to get the Magic Kingdom view for the whole time your there it's best to make the change yourself before you arrive, because there is no guarantee you would get an upgrade when you check-in.

As for the question about the stroller do you plan to just use it at the parks and while your at the Contemporary? You would know your Niece better then we do so it's kind of a hard question to answer. If you plan to get one for her I don't remember seeing them for rent at the Contemporary and I have no idea how much they would cost if you were to purchase one.

I'm at the CR right now and I can tell you that we are so glad we brought our own stroller for this trip. Having it for our travels outside the parks has proven to be invaluable. As far as buying one at the resort, I was just shopping in the concourse and I didn't see any, but they do sell them inside the parks. I'm sure I saw some in the stores, right at the beginning of Main St. on the left.

However, since your niece is 5, you may have to be careful with the type of stroller you buy. Most umbrella strollers are inadequate for larger kids. There's some really great info on these boards about different brands and styles that work for kids her age.

I wouldn't assume you will get a bump-up on your room for the first day. If you dont want to have to change rooms, I would book all the days the same. If you dont mind switching and are ok with it either way, then you can leave it and hope for some magic. But if not getting an upgrade is going to ruin your trip then dont leave it to chance.

As others have said, if you want the MK view for your entire trip, I would book it. These are the most popular rooms at the Contemporary and one may not be available when you check in.

If you have a stroller to bring, I'd would use it. WDW just went up on the prices of stroller rentals - something like $15 a day for a single stroller and around $30 for a double one!
