contemporary views... how close up can you see the castle?

hi, We are staying in the cr tower next April and I was wondering how close the castle can be seen? I looked on the allears site and there is a picture of it from the 11th floor and it looks REALLY far away to me.

Is it better in person? we had wanted mk view but I just received my ressie confirmation in the mail and it says bay lake side. I know you can see the water pagent from your room on that side and was wondering if I shoudn't bother to change sides if the castle looks far away. thanks

The castle is pretty close. I believe pictures make it look farther away. Space Mountain is very close. You can even see the water spray each time a boat plunges down from Splash Mountain. You can also see the ferry boats coming and going as well as the monorail entering the resort and leaving the resort. Such magical scenery! And, seeing the fireworks is an added bonus. I really love the MK view from CR and prefer it to the Bay Lake view.
