contemporary transportation questions..help please

Hello All, I have everything booked and I thought I was ready for our trip in May but I just realized I have no idea how much time to allot for travel around WDW or the best way to get places. Here are my plans if someone can offer any advice:
Sunday Contemporary to MK 8am ADR
Monday Contemporary to Epcot 8am ADR
Tuesday Contemporary to Animal Kingdom then Animal Kingdom to Downtown Disney
Wednesday Contemporary to MK 8am
Thursday Contemporary to Hollywood Studios
Friday Contemporary to MK
We will also be taking breaks mid day and going back to the resort on each day but I don't know how much time that will take and how much break we will actually get.

The general rule of thumb is to allow about 45 minutes per leg of the trip.

From the CR, you can easily walk to the MK. It's about half a mile from the CR to the Mk bag check. So I think most folks can walk it in about 10 minutes.

For AK to DTD, you'll need to take a bus from AK to another resort and then go from there to DTD. For that one, I'd probably allow about 75 to 90 minutes.

Did they ever extend the "test" route that was direct between AK to Downtown Disney? I thought it was a great idea, considering how early AK usually closes.

As far as I've heard, after the trial ended last Fall and they haven't tried it again or announced plans to do a second trial.

We are staying at the contemporary as well in 13 days. I have an. 8:00am ADR at akershus. I was planning on leaving contemporary at 7:00am to get to Epcot. Does this sound about right or am I overkill? Also we will have our car since we are driving down...how long do u think it would take us to get from contemporary to hs and ak by car? We have 8:30 ADR at ak and a 8:15 ADR at hs. Thanks!

Thank you. It looks like we will walk to and from MK. Monorail to Epcot 20-40 minutes hopefully. Bus to AK and HS giving ourselves 1 hour for those I'm guessing.

I kind of doubt that you'd get to Epcot in 20 minutes (unless the stars align and you get there just as both monorails are pulling up and have no waits at all). I'd would assume a minimum of 45 minutes because you have to transfer monorails at the TTC.

I would take the car. Otherwise, you have to be on that first monorail run to the TTC. Then transfer to the Epcot monorail. Get to Epcot, bag check (the worst bag check on property), then walk all the way back to Akershus. The walk from the front gate to Akershus takes about 15- 20 mins, unless you're running. The car makes much more sense for that ADR.

For the 830 ADR. I would leave CR by 7:45. For the 8:15 at DHS, leave around 7:30.

Ok thanks so much! I think we will take the car to Epcot. I know my son really wants to ride the monorail so worse comes to worse my hubby can take the car back and I could take the kids on the monorail back to the resort when we are all done so by car I should still leave by 7 right?

Thank you! We won't have a car, we will have to take the bus for the ones you recommend us to drive. I am wondering if we should take an ADR bus to Epcot for our ADR because I don't know if the Monorail will get us there in time. If we left at 7 on the monorail (I guess that would be the first of the day) would we make it to Askerhus for 815?
