Contemporary Tower Suite

We booked a tower MK view for one night and were stunned to be given a 14th floor 1-bedroom suite, MK view. It had THREE large balconies and a stunning view. I have never seen any recent photos of Contemporary suites online, so I will share a few:

I'm just glad you shared them! Everyone over there is constantly asking for 14th floor pics. They are amazing!

That one night felt like a whole week's vacation. Just amazing. The first thing I did when we got in the suite was pick up the phone and ask for late check out (which we got).

Maybe that kind of pixie dust will come your way too... we had just booked a standard MK view with an AP discount and got a suite worth about five times what we paid.

There is no "concierge light" at the CR anymore. The 12th floor is now full-service concierge and has the exact same food and drink offerrings as the 14th floor. We stayed on the 12th floor/Atrium Club almost a year ago, and it was wonderful!

We are staying Atrium Club in August and they had a 14th floor room available during our nights as well. I didn't take it and had never even seen pictures of it! It looks fabulous! Glad you had a great time!

WOW...that looks wonderful! I would love to be able to stay in that room and have the convience of the monorail. We have always stayed at the value resorts and have loved them and are just happy to be at "Mickey's house" as my kids call it. Those views must have been gorgeous at night and the fireworks right from your balcony! Disney is just awesome with all its surprises....

We are planning a trip in the middle of November and can't decide between the Contemporary, Poly, or GF. I would love to have this exact room and view. How did you get the upgrade? I called this morning to check on pricing for a MK view from the Contemporary. I was just curious how much more this suite would run us. Also, may I ask what room number you stayed in?

The room number was 4916, 14th floor Tower Club. I think it runs about $1500 a night during value season... the same type room on the Bay Lake side is $1110 value season. We did nothing to get the upgrade, just checked in early with a big smile. In fact, the CM didn't say anything about it being an upgrade. She just said "Oh, you got a fantastic room". Apparently it had already been assigned to us before we arrived.

We just booked the Contemporary for our trip. They didn't have a suite available as of now. We went ahead and booked a room with a MK view. Has anyone ever stayed in one and what kind of view did you have. We chose this resort after seeing several pictures. Our other choices were GF and the Poly. The Contemporary seemed to have the best view of the MK. From the Poly, we saw many photos with just the top part of the castle in view. We wanted to see the whole castle. I will continue calling the Contemporary to check to see if a suite becomes available during our vacation and then we'll just upgrade. I hope one will come available.
