Can someone give me some information on this/these? Is there just one or more than one? Can anyone use them? We have an ADR at Chef Mickeys for Dinner and would like to watch the fireworks before heading back to our offsite hotel for the night - any help would be appreciated!:goodvibes

There is a deck off the north end of the concourse (Bay Lake Tower side). It's accessible to anyone and should provide a good view. Enjoy the fireworks!

Thank you! I read somewhere that they pipe the fireworks music in - any idea if that is true?

They do do this. Only for Wishes though. I watched Wishes from the Cali Grill and they didn't play the music for the Memories show, but when Wishes started, they played it. It was fantastic!

I just wanted to let you know their 4th floor observation deck can be crowded so if your ADR is finished well before Wishes starts it's best to get out there as fast as possible. Plus they also have a bench right at the front of the observation deck and if it's free I would highly recommend sitting down, because if it's taken then you will need to stand up.

This is true. We went last year. It was fine and not crowded so we decided to go and shop some first. Boy by the time we got back out there is was packed. The people on the bench had a great view. Our view was not the best. We ended up with concrete in front of us.

We enjoyed watching from the deck outside the CG. They piped in the music, plus we could see the water parade. Get out there a little early if you want to lean on the rail. Very nice.

The walkway over to Bay Lake Towers would be good, too.

When I went there, half the viewing deck was the smoking area so if that bothers you, you may want to check once you get there to see if that's still the case.

It's been 3 years since I've gone out there to watch the fireworks.

It was the same last year. This is where DH used to go and smoke.

Thank you all so much for all your tips :goodvibes We will try and get there early - our ressie is at 7:15pm so that shouldn't be a problem :)

Here's a pic of the deck. Way in the back are the seats that are great for fireworks viewing but are in the smoking area.
