Contemporary Resort for Christmas} ?

Hi! I was wondering if the Contemporary Resort was a good choice for the holiday season. We are going Dec 17 thru Dec 24th and we got a rate of $1,834.14 for the Graden Wing. Going on this trip will be myself, dh, #2 dd's, ds, and my mil. I was also wondering if that was a concierge section or not.

We have a reservation at the Wilderness Lodge in a Deluxe Jr. Suite for 3,326.16 which I think is a bit expensive. I'm trying to divide our time there into 2 resort stays. Our second portion is Dec 24 thru Jan 1. I'd rather stay somewhere really nice for the second portion, than the first.

There is no concierge in the garden wings. The concierge is in the tower section. It is a lot more money also. We are staying in the tower and it will cost us over $2000 just for 6 nights and that isn't even concierge.

I actually like CR much more than the WL. The rooms are HUGE and the location is THE BEST. The WL does have more a Christmasy feel, so I can see why you would want to stay there. I would do WL your first week and CR the second, if you can get it. At CR you will have monorail access, and you can walk to and from MK. We loved that when we stayed there before Easter in the North Garden Wing. It's the closest to MK and the food court/arcade. I would highly recommend getting a lower level room. You have a patio and don't have to worry about elevators.

WOW! What a fun trip and you're lucky to get to stay so long!

WL might be best for the 1st half and then end with the CR. The WL definitely has a more Christmasy feel to it than the CR but ending with a monorail resort might be like saving the best for last as far as your kids are concerned.
