We will be staying in the North Garden Wing the week after Thanksgiving and I am needing some suggestions as to which rooms to request. If you have stayed in the North Garden wing and have liked or dis-liked your room or location, please post and let me know. We are trying to make this a really magical stay as we are sponsoring a family and want to make this very special for them too. Thanks!!

We stayed in the north garden wing in August and had a third floor room - room number 7384- even though it was a standard view- we were able to see the monorail go through the hotel and Cindys Castle, and at night it was so beautiful to see the castle change colors. The caste view was alittle obstructed but you could see the dome of space mountain from our room also. I am so glad I didnt pay for a better view and was very pleased with the room, view and especially the HOTEL. Good Luck to you and I hope you have a great vacation.

PS- Our room was a short walk away from the elevators:bounce:

Hi, Do the North Garden Rooms have balconies? And is 3rd floor the top floor? I asked on this board before about seeing the Castle and I was told you could not see it from the N. Garden Wing. We have a CR room booked thru SOg for July and I was also wondering what request to make?? I also have to have Non-Smoking for medical reasons(my son has asthma). I did book a water view room which is 10.00 more and when I mentioned the "long" walk to the CM she asked if I would like to put on the Reservation to be near the tower and I said yes.Any help is appreciated!Joan

I have a room map of the Contemporary Resort. The rooms facing the Magic Kingdom on all 3 floors of the North Wing (front) are: 7178-7188, 7278-7288, 7378-7388, 7147-7160, 7247-7260 and 7347-7360. Also facing MK in the center of the North Wing (the middle building that is vertical) are room number's 7128-7139, 7228-7239 and 7328-7339. Room numbers 8125-8130 (all three floors, 8225, 8325, etc.) are in the back building facing forward MK but not sure what type view you would get here. Remember the NW is very close to MK so seeing all of the castle, etc. may be difficult in any of these rooms. I have only stayed in the Tower. The rest of the rooms in the NW are either facing the parking lot, garden/pool type view and/or the Bay view.

Hello Dis-knee

We stayed in the North Garden Wing a couple of years back.
Because we have small children we had requested a room close to the tower and on the ground floor. We had purchased a room with a parking lot view but were upgraded to a lagoon view. We really liked this room because it was a short walk to the Tower, the food and fun center, the bus stop, and the walking path to the Magic Kingdom. Just outside our room there was also a children’s play area. After a couple of days we found a side entrance to the food and fun center, which made coffee runs that much closer. My suggestion is that what ever floor you request, request a room close to the tower as the garden wings are very long.

HI!
I thought I would throw in my 2 cents on the Contemporary. I have stayed there 3 times, twice in the South Garden and once in the North Garden. I like the north much better. We had a room on the ground floor with a parking lot view. You do get a slider and a little patio. I believe the upper floors also have a slider but no real balcony. We were right in the middle of the building so the walk to the Tower and the walk in the other direction to the door that leads to the MK pathway were equidistant which was nice. I wouldn't hesitate staying there again and I LOVE the Contemporary. I have stayed in quite a few of the resorts and like the Contemporary best. We are going to stay for the first time in the Tower for Thanksgiving. I can't wait!!!
