Contemporary Pool rehab?

Does anyone know what the are going to do to the pool? Is a better slide a possibility?

I wasn't aware that they were going to refurbish the pool. It was new just several years ago.

I was just at the Comtemporary last week (my son rented a watermouse there) and was surprised when I walked out back to see the main pool fenced off. Peeking through the tarp over the fence it looked like the pool itself and the slide were still intact but the concrete around the pool was all dug up. I don't know if that will be the extent of the work.

Please tell me this refurbishment will be done by the end of April! I had no idea they were redoing the pool! Does anyone know when it'll be open again?

Contemporary - Main pool closed for rehab February 12 - March 8. During this time, Bay Pool at the Contemporary will be open. Also, during the rehab, Contemporary guests may use the pools at Wilderness Lodge, Polynesian, and the Grand Floridian

That's a relief. I wouldn't mind being able to use the other pools, but it's much nicer to just go nearby to swim. At least it looks like it'll all be finished in plenty of time for our trip.
