Anyone know what’s included with the pool cabanas these days since COVID reopening? Appreciate any info.

I would like to know as well. I thought there were at least cold drinks so hoping someone who has been recently there and had a cabana sees this. Thank you

I had a Grand Floridian cabana earlier in the month. When we arrived there was a mini fridge stocked with water, soda, and a fruit platter. On the table we had a basket with an assortment of chips. In the afternoon we were also given a dessert platter.

Last time we rented a CR cabana it was right after reopening and the normal services like the PP describe were paused - but I’m pretty sure these days it’s back to normal. I do know GF and YC/BC cabanas are as described by PP, so I suspect CR is too.

Thanks. Hope it’s the same! Have one booked next Friday, weather permitting. It’s August in Florida after all. I’ll post the amenities for CR cabanas.

$265.19 tx included for full day at CR. Assume all locations are the same price. My credit card was charged immediately, with a refund available if you cancel at least 24 hours ahead of time. And I believe the “day” is 10am-7pm. FYI Was on hold 2 hours before I got to make this reservation.

If I can ask if you don’t mind, did that include an AP or DVC discount?

Cabana rates change seasonally and aren’t consistent across the resorts that have them, so I try to keep track of the latest rates from current reports.

Thanks!

That price was non-discount. When I told cast member we are DVC members she told me to show my card when checking in for the cabana and discount would be applied then. Not sure how that’s going to work since my card was already charged - might be a long tussle to get that amount refunded lol. For me it’s all good no matter what. This is a much looking forward to trip with my 2 daughters and their families. Don’t know when we will all be able to do this kind of trip again. Also booked a fireworks cruise. That was a 4 hour wait time on hold lol.

Ok had the cabana yesterday at the contemporary. There was a mini fridge stocked with water and sodas. Fruit platter also. Attendant asked if we needed refills on the beverages but not the fruit platter and we didn’t ask. Was told would take 3-10 days to refund original price then withdrawal discounted price from my credit card. Also, FYI I booked for my daughter and family who were staying at bay lake. I am at copper creek. Was told when booked that cabanas are only for guests staying at that resort and was not guaranteed that I could join them. As it turned out, no one even questioned me joining them. Did not even need my magic band to enter pool area. IMO - well worth it!! Well, except for the non stop construction noise all day poolside! Like jackhammering.

Thank you for the update! We have a cabana reserved for Aug 28th. What is the jackhammer noise from, actual work at the pool or atrium work?

Work on the atrium rooms right on the main pool side. The balconies were covered with tarps so you couldn’t see only hear lol. Hopefully by the time you go they will have moved further up or across so it won’t be as loud. But hey it’s Disney and a luxury item so ENJOY!!
