Contemporary Parking for Pin Trading Event

I went to the first Contemporary Pin Trading Event on Friday, January 26, coming from the MK.

I'd like to attend the second event on Friday, February 16, but will not be going into any park--just driving directly to the Contemporary.

Can someone fill me in on the parking situation for the Contemporary Convention Center?

Do you pay a fee to park for the event even if you're not staying at the Contemporary?

Is there a separate parking entrance for the convention center as apposed to the hotel?

If you're staying for just an hour or so, as you would with dinner at the hotel, is there free parking with validation, and does this apply to the Pin Trading Event?

In the regular entrance tell them you are there for pin trading parking will be free in the regular lot for the amount of time the event is!
