Contemporary parking for Chef Mickey dinner - questions

Just checking on the parking situation. We were able to score Chef Mickey reservations for dinner tonight. We are new Florida residents (and APs - yay!) so driving down after work. ADR is at 6:55 and since MK closes early for party, plan is to zip over to EPCOT after dinner to ride Guardians (ILL) and watch EPCOT Forever before heading home.

If we don't hit traffic and get there early enough, we'll probably just park at EPCOT and monorail over to the Contemporary. My question is, if we are crunched for time, do they allow parking at the Contemporary if you have a reservation or does everyone just have to park at the TTC? Sorry if it's a silly question but we are new to driving instead of just being on site and using Disney transportation.

It depends.

It used to be very convenient to stop by CR for dinner on my way home from work, so I did it a lot. I always had an ADR. Out of dozens of times, only once was I told I could not park at CR and would have to go to the TTC to park. It was due to having a convention in house, and parking was tight as a result.

Normally I would say it’s no problem so long as you have an ADR, but you mention there is a party at MK tonight. They could restrict parking to hotel guests only, to prevent party guests filling up the lot. There’s no way to know for sure until you get there.

As long as you have a dining reservation, you should be fine to park there. Very rarely you would have to park at TTC if the parking lot is already full.

You should be okay parking at Contemporary with your reservation.
