My wife and I have always wanted to stay at the Contemporary Resort, but could never afford it. Are there ever any deals on rates or packages for there. I'm not planning on going to WDW until June 2008.

Right now I have magic kingdom view / tower for aug 07' We have the AAA rate. Hoping for something from AP rates. The last few years we have been unable to get tower rooms with an AP rate. This year we really want to stay there, and will stick with our AAA rate, if it is not available.

this plan depends on how many days you are going for-maybe you can get an ap
i think the ap rates for the wing arent too bad-better than poly and more expensive than akl or wl

The best rate I got was an AP rate in the Garden Wing.

Your best hope of getting a discount is to call right away on the day that the discount comes out. There are not a lot of rooms at the Contemporary, and with convention guests taking up some rooms usually there are not many that will be discounted.

We went at the end of Nov/beginning of Dec last year and got a discount of about $50/night, but I called right away. Later in the day I tried to change my dates slightly but I couldn't if I wanted to keep the discount.
