For what it's worth, our cruise captain tonight stated that WDW won't announce that the Cont addition will be DVC until the new AK DVC is sold out.

For what it's worth, our cruise captain tonight stated that WDW won't announce that the Cont addition will be DVC until the new AK DVC is sold out.

Well, yes and no. Once it gets to a certain point, like 70% built (including the interior) they have to announce it. They can stop before that point, sure.

They won't wait til it is completely sold out to announce, just a high percentage of it.

I think a lot of people have come to realize that this will be a DVC building. Since the rumours had started a long time ago I believed it from the begining and it was only confirmed when a very reliable Cast Member who works on the 4th floor told me it would be a DVC building. In the past she had told me about the arcade moving to where the Fantasia store use to be and this was when everyone was in the I will believe it when I see it phase, well as we all know that came true. So that is why I am choosing to believe this Cast Member. Plus a few months ago there was some article on the Orlando Sentinal website which said it would be a Disney Vacation Club building.
