We are heading to Disney in November and can't decide which resort to stay at. We have stayed at the Poly concierge once in the past but have never stayed at the Contemporary concierge. Anyone have any advice on what they would do based on past experiences? Thanks for your opinions.

Judging by your signature, you've been to WDW many times, and it appears you'll be there many more in the future. You have not yet been to the Contemporary. Like the saying goes, "variety is the spice of life", so I think you should give the Contemporary a try. You can add it to your list of resorts "stayed at", and it just may become one of your favorites. Have a great trip!

The CR offer's two levels of concierge service. The 14th floor has only 5 standard concierge rooms and 11 suites. The lounge is open from 7am-10pm and serves beer, wine and cordials in the evening. I don't think the 12th floor has an actual lounge. I believe the food and drinks are set up on tables and you can bring them back to your room. The staff is available to assist you during the same hours, but the food service ends earlier and they don't have the beer, wine and cordials available. If you were looking for something comparable to the Poly, then it would be the 14th floor. If it's available, I would absolutely give it a try. If only the 12th floor had availability, I'd stick with the Poly, or perhaps look at some of the other deluxes.

SJU Guy....based on that report, the 14th floor at the Contemporary is just what the doctor ordered.
