Contempo Cafe?

Hi! What can you tell me about Contempo Cafe at the Contemporary?? Any info or thoughts on quick service food at that resort would be appreciated! Thanks!

The Tempo Grab & Go is no longer open since the Contemporary opened the Contempo Cafe back in late November, which is now their brand new counter service location and in my opinion it's got some great items on their menu.

oh, thanks! That would explain why the link to the info about it (from post 1 of the CR thread) isn't working!! Does the Contempo Cafe have 'normal' food court type food?? Ex: can kids get chicken strips/nuggets? Mickey waffles for breakfast?? Thanks for your reply!

My DH did enjoy the chicken caesar as well. Th burger was pretty good and they were able to give me a regular kaiser roll in place of the multi grain bun it came on. I had a breakfast sand. of ham, egg and cheese. Other than that, I have to say, I was not impressed with the menu. I much prefered Capn Cooks at Poly.

The Contempo Cafe is located on the 4th floor lobby of the Contemporary, and serves California-inspired quick service food. It is set in a very sterile and boring way and kind of just "sits" there.

Took our nieces there last month because they wanted spaghetti....it is a very nice cafe, huge actually. If you want anything specially ordered like I did, sauce on the side, you have to tell the cashier because you cannot change it on the touch order screen. You can hear the fun from Chef Mickeys but it is not loud by any means.

The pasta was orichette and the kids really liked it. DH finished off what they could not and he said it was pretty good.

There are 4 specialty cupcakes that looks yummy. It wasnt that busy, but while I was waiting for the pasta to come out I saw some pizza, looked like your standard WDW kind and the burgers were on wheat buns but they do have plain if you ask for it. The salads were huge and looked so good! There is a Espresso/Latte/Capp machine there as well.

I wouldnt mind trying it myself one day.
