Contaminated food

I havent bought fresh spinach in months. I stopped buying the pre-cut bagged salad. I buy head lettuce, but figure Im risking sickness everytime I make a salad. Anyone else unsure of how to shop-cook-eat these days? After the recall period, do you go back to normal shopping? Curious.

Yep, I am back to buying bagged spinach and lettuce. I did wait for a few weeks once it was back on the shelf and they had announced where the contamination came from. I figure it is scary but I can't live in a bubble either!

I don't worry about it. It is impossible to ensure a completely safe food supply so I take my chances.

Around here spinach wasn't available for months. I eat it every day and was so excited when it finally came back.

I buy it and eat it now, too. The alternative is to grow and raise it on my own, and well ... that ain't happening!
