I just got contacts last week and I wondered where you guys buy yours? I need acuvue oasys. Where is a good, budget place to order online?

TIA

I've gotten mine a few different places. Right now, I go through my eye doctor at America's Best because they have a club that includes exams for 3 years that runs just a little more than a single contact lens exam. Their price on mine is better than most places and I've been happy with the doctor I see there.

If you have a Costco membership, their optical department has excellent prices. 1800Contacts isn't what it used to be; last time I checked they were quite a bit more expensive on my brand than Costco or America's Best.

Walgreens.Com has really good discounts on contacts. They are still running their 20% off sale. Plus the shipping is free if your order is over $25. I just bought 4 boxes for $90 after tax. That's only $22 a box. The place where my doctor's office is sells glasses and contacts and they were charging me $35 per each box. So I'm happy saving $13 a box. :-)

I wear the same contacts brand as you do also.

Wherever I can find the best price. Most of the big places run discount codes so you just need to google around to see who has the best deal currently.

Overall, Walmart/Sam's Club is consistently low. VisionDirect usually has the fastest at-home delivery for us.

I got mine from Sam's club. They sell the 24 pack box for $99 a box. So the year's supply for $200. And then Acuvue has a rebate right now that if you buy the year's supply they will send you a $50 rebate. So that brought my year's supply of contacts to $150 once i get the rebate back.

And my local Sams Club is awesome... she will call me a few days before my prescription expires so I can come in a restock. :)

I was going to say Walgreens.com too. They always seem to have the best prices.

I used Vision Direct the last few times. Google for discount codes. I did get Acuvue Oasys a few weeks ago and with the code and free shipping it was cheaper than Walgreens and Walmart and definitely much cheaper than 1800contacts. I don't have a Costco membership so I don't know about that. If you have ebates you can use that and get more money back. Also last time I got a credit to spend back at the site, like $20. It depends on who is running a special at the time you order them, I think, as to who is cheaper.

I posted about this a few weeks ago, it was a great deal -- Walgreens.com has 20% off, free shipping. I went through a cashback site to get even more back, plus I'll get the $50 rebate for Acuvue. Sam's doesn't usually stock my contacts so I have to wait up to 10 days for it to come in, and it's a 30 minute drive. Getting it online means it gets delivered right to my door. Love it!

I used PriceGrabber to find the cheapest price for our contacts. ContactLense.com was the cheapest (and Acuvue Oasys is one of the types of lenses I order).

I get my dd's at Costco. Usually get year for about $130 after rebates.

Google is going to be a very good friend here. My Dr. is at Costco but I discovered Costco's prices were not the lowest I could get. I think they wanted $50/box and I paid $36/box online. I've been using OptiContacts.com for a few years now but each time I order I re-Google to make sure I'm still getting the same good deal.

Walgreens has great prices for specialty lenses. My sons lens costs is $250 a piece every where else, but at Walgreens it is only $130!

Walgreens. valpak3 takes 25% off contacts through Dec.

I usually pay a few extra dollars through them, (I have daily toric lens) but they ship quickly to me while some of those places have to order from manufacturer and takes 2 weeks compared to Walgreens 2 days.

I always buy through 1800 contacts.com, but I never pay their prices. I google my brand to find the cheapest price on some site I've never heard of usually and then do the price match on 1800 contacts. Super easy, free shipping and they will contact the optical for your prescription.
