Contact tracing scenarios

We have reservations for a July Alaskan cruise and just trying to gather information to help us make a decision. Currently, other than the kids’ clubs, what contact tracing (And thus isolation) is done should a fellow cruiser or a crew member test positive? I’m thinking about Disney excursions, adjacent tables at dinner, same table at dinner (we are traveling as a multigenerational party of 9), wait staff, spa services staff, BBB, those informational sessions or workshops, show seating, etc. etc. etc. Any info would be appreciated!

If you are all sharing the same table at dinner, you may all be considered one party in terms of contact tracing. That said, I have read very little of anyone getting quarantined as a close contact other than due to the Club/Lab. And now with fewer kids testing prior to debarkation, that likelihood decreases considerably as well.

This doesn't apply to DCL but we were on a Royal Caribbean Allure cruise over Christmas and my daughter came down with symptoms on the third day. She tested positive. Security then asked her detailed questions about where she had been during the whole cruise. She provided them info on the friends she hung out with and they quarantined them to their room until they could be tested. Two out of four of them tested positive and they were then moved to deck 2. The other two were then free to roam about the ship again. On social media I also heard that on that cruise some people were trying to get off the ship and when they scanned their cards the staff told them they were a close contact and must go back to their room and stay there until they were tested so they were not able to get off the ship.
