I am trying to get into the site that allows me to check on availability of resorts in order to plan a vacation. They ask for my (our)Membership Number -- no problem and our Contact Number - what is that and where can I find it? It is on none of our papers. We have been members since 2005. Thanks for any help you can give me.

The first time you want to use the member website, you need to have a number which is provided by Member Services. As I recall, you only use the number for setting up access to the website. When I joined, it was called a "Club ID number" not a "contact number." Since you are already a member, call member services to request it.

However, a word of caution -- if it is the first time you've used the member website, and you already have an e-mail user name and password with Disney, get help from IT so that your DVC member account for accessing the member website is the same as your other Disney account. You just want one account, or the system will get confused when you try to use My Disney Experience.

I just set up my DVC member account yesterday & I DO have another Disney account for MDE. So should I call Member Services website IT to get it straightened out? Or just set up another MDE account?

I thought I remembered a place in MDE where you could put your DVC membership number?

Thanks so much for your help. We will be spending a week at Kidani Village (one of our home resorts) at the end of January. I was going to hold off telling DH and then spring it on him one day when I thought he could use some cheering up. So what did I do? That's right -- told him right away! He's thrilled

I'm trying to remember... I had an old Disney account which used my email address. Then when I set up my DVC member account several years ago, you could not use your email address as your user name, so I made up a user name. Then there came a point in time (right around when MDE was getting set up) when you had to use your email address as your user name on your DVC member account. But I was already using my email address as my user name on that other Disney account, so the system wouldn't let me do it. I had to call Member Services website IT to combine the two.
