Do the first aid centers in the parks have contact lens solutions (cleaners) and rewetting drops? I wear hard contact lenses, so it would be helpful if anyone knows whether they have solutions specifically for hard lenses, but any information on contact lens solutions at the first aid centers would be greatly appreciated.

I never know whether I might run into a contact lens issue, but carrying heavy bottles into the parks is tough!

They didn't when I was there. I don't think it's a standard first aid item, and I remember having trouble finding it in the gift shops too.

You don't have an airline regulation bottle? Mine isn't heavy or large- it can fit in my pocket, I'd just forgotten it in my cosmetics bag that time.

I always pick up a small bottle of contact lens solution from CVS or some place like that. It's painful because it's so much more expensive then a regular sized bottle but I'd rather carry 3 oz around with me then a full bottle! Another option is to just pack your glasses if you are carrying in a small bag.

I do the same as Tink 83. I wear soft lenses, but I always carry the rewetting drops, and usually the small bottle of solution too. Rather have it than not!

They don't from my understanding.

I would buy a travel bottle to bring to the room and a smaller bottle for purse/bag. It is just one of those things that is so specific to the individual that it would be a lot of inventory to carry and a RN may not be familiar with contacts.

THey do have emergency saline. They are in tiny little sample vials. They were given to my daughter when we were there in December at the Magic Kingdom First Aid, located between Crystal Palace and the restrooms.

I wear hard contacts too. Here is a tip your eye doctor usually gets sample packs of cleaner, solution, and a lens case all together in a tiny box. They are both small bottles. That's what I do, plus extra case is great too. The one my doc has is the Boston brand for hard contacts

This is what I was going to recommend as well. Our eye Dr. said never buy it, ask us for it because they get more in than they can give away!
