I had very good luck with 1800contacts. They charged half what my doctor's office did, and shipping is free (and fast, at least for me it was).
I just joined Costco, and they advertise that they have contacts, but I haven't checked out prices yet, but if you're a member you should check them out (or if you belong to any other warehouse club).
My sister found walmart.com to have the best prices on her particular lenses. She has astigmatism and wears a prescription a little different than your garden variety. My prescription is pretty common, but I just order them from the eye Dr.'s office because they're pretty competitive on prices and I always send in the $30 rebate form as well. They also have them mailed to my door for no shipping charges if they don't have them on the shelf. I get 1 year's worth at a time (toss every 2 weeks). My vision plan even pays for them every other year.
I would recommend WalMart's service. I would also recommend against 1-800-Contacts. They had quite a few legal problems not so long ago, because they were accused of shipping inferior contacts as if they were name brands. Customers complained that they were not getting the quality of contacts they paid for... so I'd use them with caution. I've used both, and have never had any problems with WalMart, with similar prices. Good luck!
