We just returned from Disney and I would like to write to someone who matters and give them a suggestion regarding the safety of our kids, specifically autism but really all kids. Does anyone have a contact? Phone? Email? anything like that?

The general email posted by other poster is the one published by Disney for contact. If you put something in the subject or first few lines to indicate it is related to disability and they will route it to the correct place.

Thank you, I will use both! Its really a very simple thing that could easily be fixed. I was warned by another autism parent that they lost their son after "Turtle Talk with Crush", so I was on guard with my own son. The show went well and he was even picked to speak to crush...which went, well, ok. LOL

When the show was over I was probably 10 steps away from my son when before I expected it, the doors flew open and everyone started filing out, including my son who loves to be first in everything. So I became the mad woman running across the bench, being admonished for doing so, in an effort to get to my son who is now out the door with a good 20 people between us.

How hard would it be to say, ok, the show is over, go find your parents, before opening the doors?

We had a GAC card for our recent trip, and used it for Turtle Talk with Crush. So they led us into a waiting room with the folks in wheelchairs and we were led into the room before anyone else.

But our youngest (who has autism) couldn't stay for the entire show -- it was very overstimulating, once the horde of children joined her up front -- so we left before the end of the show.

I can't imagine them just opening the doors and then losing sight of her in the crowd!!

When my son was younger we had to leave before it was over also. Two years ago he wanted to sit with us. This trip I was surprised that not only did he want to sit right up front, but also that he actually interacted with crush!

It went well until crush asked him "who brought you". Don't you hate it when you have taught them all of these phrases, who did you come with, whats your mom's name, who is here with you, etc...but a slight change in wording and they are lost. He didn't know who "brought" him. Later when I explained what it meant and then asked him myself...so, who brought you to Disney? He said, of course....The Disney Bus!!!
