Construction?

I stayed in July and the only disruption was visual. There aren't any dining or pool closures, and I couldn't hear any noise in our room, at the Dig Site, or El Centro.

Recent reports say it can be noisy in some parts of the resort during the daytime hours. Check out the CSR thread for more info.

I am wondering the same thing. I just made reservations for March 10-14, 2018. The average price was $188 per night. I think that is a great price. Normally we stay at Ft. Wilderness and bring our camper. This rate is only $36 more per night than what I would pay for a campsite during these dates. I am wondering if they are going to be closing major parts of the resort by Spring like they have done at CB. If they are just doing construction on the new hotel, I don't think it will bother me. But, if they close major parts of the resort I may rethink my reservation.

My understanding is that the store, restaurants, lobby check in, etc. will transition to the new tower building when it is completed. Nothing will close before that, will be up and running normally. Makes sense with their meeting and conference center to keep things transitioning smoothly. Individual buildings of rooms will be closed while they are worked on, but not the public areas.
