Construction Noise?

Anyone think construction noise at SSR would be interference with trip enjoyment? We've made June reservations, but I am wondering how ongoing construction may affect a trip. For example, would a day at the pool be a day filled with noise? Anyone have any idea? Anyone ever stay at a resort as buildings were opening and construction was ongoing?

Exterior construction is supposed to be complete for the first 4 buildings before the resort opens. We're more than four months from the opening now and the scaffolding around building one has already been taken down.

I would imagine that the remaining eight buildings are far enough away that it won't distract from your enjoyment of the resort.

Thanks, tjkraz. Knowing that exterior construction will be done all at once is a bit of a relief.

I would guess that a DTD view would be good too--probably farthest away from any noise.

I can't say for sure how it will work out but, when they were building OKW, there was not a problem with noise. I had a few instances where the "view" was not great because landscaping was in the process of being done (i.e., small equipment around) but I was always able to switch rooms and by the next trip the "bad" room was fine. When they built the South Point Section there was a wall around the whole area and I never heard any noise. They may do something similar with the additional parts of SSR.
